Live, Laugh, Liberty, Pt 3

June 20th, 2010-Sea Day

Since we had a late night we slept in. Actually mom slept in until around 10am. I was up and on deck eating breakfast.

PS-Fish n Chips is still a great place to eat and meet up, ppl don't want to climb those stairs, lol.

I brought mom some coffee back, not knowing if she would be up or not. She was hungry, so I went up and sat with her while she ate. We used this time to look over the Fun Times tear out portion. We had missed a lot of the morning activities, so we decided to go down and get on our swim suits and head up to deck.

Yes, the main deck was crowded, but I think we found the perfect spot. We noticed that Deck 10 outside of the Fish N Chips wasn't crowded. It had shaded areas and sun areas, it was right there at a water and lemonade station too. We sat in the sun for about 40 mins (I was lathered in sunscreen) and moved in the shade after that. We read and mom struck up a conversation with a lady next to us.

I decided it was time for ice cream. I went right around the corner and down the stairs and started across the pool........oops.........down I went. Lucky I had been working on balance with my trainer and I only fell to one knee and caught myself on the table. People at the table nearby asked if I was okay. I said,"Its okay, I didn't have the ice cream yet, so we are safe." We had a laugh and they moved the slippery sign to exactly where I fell. I had a right nice bruise on my knee after that. But all is well when it ends with ice cream.

Mom got hungry a little while later, so down to buffet for lunch. I talked her into a nap before we had to get up and start getting dressed for Elegant night. We had a good hour and up and ready for Elegant night and picture taking.

We took a few pictures professionally and then headed around the ship to try some of our own.........

After lobster........ummm......show up late to dinner on lobster night......geez......it was like sardines in there.

We headed straight to the Victoria lounge for the comedian Phat Kat. I recommend getting there EARLY....the lounge is small and people were waiting outside the doors by show time. After we split the time between the piano bar, with Wally, and the dance club. A good end to a good night.
