Well, I really haven't had time to refresh my memory with my friends, its been busy lately. But I will just go over a few highlights. You might just have to book the trip to get the finer details.
I believe the first floor continues with the cafeteria and kitchen area, along with the Veteran's Ward. Apparently, the cook is a ghost that still resides, but has a bit of a temper and has been known to throw things. We stayed here for a bit, but got no response. Be careful, there is a dripping pipe in here and it can be distracting.
The cafeteria area has some loose tiles, that past hunters have said have been thrown at them, again......no experiences here.
There is a section of this area where a patient still resides who was a alcoholic (I forget his name). If you start discussing alcohol, you will get a response. We have a video of this room too with good results, if I can get all these downloaded I will post them. We got direct responses to our questions again with the flashlight.
The last stop for us was the dangerous offenders ward. This area was for those violent offenders. The floor was also, ironically, used for the elderly. When you go down the first half of the corridor, the guide spoke of this area being haunted by the nurses in the ward. They don't tend to like men and will scratch them. The guys with us didn't feel anything and they didn't have any marks on them later. This ward does give off a creepy feeling. I didn't feel uncomfortable in any other section of this facility, but this ward def. made me feel on edge.
The violent offenders were kept in barred cells and a few of these were open. There was one cell at the end that was locked. The story goes that it was open for a long time, then shut one day and they can't open it. They have no keys to the lock and the only other way to get it open is to weld it off. The guide warned that sometimes the door opens, but asked us to please not go in if it were to open when we passed back through, ,b/c obviously.........well..........watch enough horror movies and you know the door would shut.
The other room on this floor had three room mates in it. They had all had offenses, but weren't locked in cells. The story goes (I might get this a little backwards) that the two room mates took the third and strung him up with bedsheets on one of the ceiling hangings in the room. When they realized they were killing him, they put his head under the leg of the bed and push it through, then placed him back in the bed. The main guy who initiated it is actually still alive and in another facility right now. We did get the ghost to talk to us, but it was the end of the night and he had been talking to many groups that night, so he was tired and actually told us so. When we asked if he was tired, he turned on the flash light. Then we asked he wanted us to leave and again the flashlight came on. So we respected him and left.
There is some kind of cage of this floor on the opposite end, we went looking for it, but at this point, we were frozen, exhausted and had a long drive ahead of us. They told us that they would be opening more sections of the hospital next year, so we figured we could always come back.
I'm going to post a part three to this, but its going to be a copy of the email sent to us after purchasing. Its just some info. If and when I have the patience to upload all the videos I will post those are part 4.
