This is a room that has a warm temp, but not hot or dry. These loungers are heated tile and there is spa music playing inside. It is very relaxing even if you just want to go to this room alone.

This is what they called the cool down room. Its air conditioned and has a table with cold water waiting. It has the spa music too and is a great place to catch a sunset after a long day.

One of the treatment rooms:

Aerobics Rooms:

Sauna: It has two forward full loungers that look out the window.

Steam room with aroma therapy and heated seat....all the rooms had heated seats except for the cool room. Obviously couldn't take the camera in there...

Thalasso Pool:
Heated pool with minerals and dead sea salt. You could stay in this pool as long as you wanted, its not like a hot tub. It was a bit rocky on sea days, lol.

There was one more room and it was inbetween the steam and sauna. It wasn't dry, but it wasn't as thick as the steam. We used it like once.
They also have lockers rooms for people who have the passes. You have your own lockers (You enter a 4 digit number to lock and unlock), two showers (one is handicapped) and 3 bathrooms (one is handicapped), mirrors, sinks, hairdryers (you can plug up shavers in there, but not straighteners as I found out.)
We did make the spa drawing and my friend actually won a treatment and I did too, but mine was a free shave.....they gave me 10% off a "age treatment" Sorry, I know I'm fat, but I don't think I look old yet. Needless to say I just waited for a port day special and got a 20-20-20. You got to pick out of list of 5 3 things you wanted and you got 20 mins on each. It was $99.
Oh, I have Funtimes and spa pricing sheets, I just have to scan them.
My memory is fuzzy since its been about 3 months and this time I didn't journal. I believe we used the spa pass for the first time that night before dinner. It was great and we promised to use it once a day for the whole week at the least. We kept that promise, so I think we got our money out of it.
I didn't do dinner menus, nor do I remember what I ate at this point. Told you it wouldn't be as detailed.
Our first day was a day at sea and we began the morning with a walk around the upper deck. This is when we found out they were shooting the movie. We had breakfast delivered to the room for most mornings and enjoyed it on the balcony. It was my first balcony and I enjoyed it.
Me enjoying the balcony

I actually spent a lot of time out there. I enjoyed the it more than I would have enjoyed the pool deck. It was quiet, it had shade, but was still warm. I'm not a sun person, so it was great for me. My friend didn't get it, but then again she has Greek skin.
For the life of me I can't remember what we did that specific day, so lets just move on.
Our first stop was Cozumel and we went to Nachi Cocom. I had been there with my mom that June and talked my friend into going again. A few of our tablemates had reservations too and one tagged along hoping he'd get it......he did. It was a beautiful day and we had Carlos for a waiter. He was great. Kept our drinks filled and was always in view. We had a great time talking, and a few splashes it a bit chilly water. My friend got her sun and I got my papala and shade. We spent most of the day there and headed back with enough time to shop and then get back on the ship. I love this place and it will probably be my choice for any trip to Cozumel in the future.
Shells I found on the beach. One had a hole in it, so I made a necklace out of it. It was perfect.

A crab eye view:

Carnival, let me know if you need this for advertisement.lol

My shade!

Here is to vacation: Rum and coke, my drink of choice that day

Toes in the sand....I had it backwards

One of the tablemates was a better photographer than me and took this.

All in all it was a great first port day!
More to come, but I have to take a break.
